No reason is required to request an Absentee Ballot. If you are physically disabled or living temporarily outside your county of residence, a close relative may apply for an Absentee Ballot for you.
Photo ID is not required when voting by mail.

Mail or fax the completed form to your county Board of Registrars. Address and fax information for your registrar may be found on the Georgia Secretary of State's website at http://sos.georgia.gov/elections/elections/voter_information/2000_voter_info.asp
The Absentee Ballot application consists of two pages; however, it is not necessary to fax the second page in order for your application to be processed.
To make sure you receive your Absentee Ballot in time, please submit Absentee Ballot Request no later than Tuesday, October 21, 2008.
Once you receive your Absentee Ballot in the mail, simply fill it out (remember to sign), and mail it back to your county Board of Registrars. Completed Absentee Ballots must be received by your County Board of Registrars' office by Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
